Yokogawa is pleased to announce the appointment of Nigel Bowden as Managing Director for its UK operations, succeeding Simon Rogers who has become Global Lead for Yokogawa’s Advanced Solutions business.
Nigel, a graduate Electrical/Electronic Engineer has over thirty years’ experience of defining and implementing manufacturing execution and plant information management systems. He combines the grounded principles of an engineering background with a high degree of commercial flair and strong leadership skills. In his new role, Nigel wants to extend Yokogawa’s profile in the UK automation market leveraging Yokogawa’s co-innovation value proposition to bring world class automation and information management solutions to UK customers.

Nigel brings in-depth experience from his previous role as Managing Director of Yokogawa Marex Limited, where he created a Global Centre of Excellence for Yokogawa’s production management software solutions. He will utilise this expertise in developing Yokogawa’s Advanced Solutions in the UK.
