Yokogawa Electric Corporation announces that its subsidiary, Yokogawa Solution Service Corporation, has received an order to deliver control system solutions for an ethylene plant that will be built in Plaquemine, Louisiana for Shintech Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. The order is from Toyo Engineering Corporation, the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for this project. The new plant will have an annual output of 500,000 tons.
