Release of 2021 Yokogawa Sustainability Report

Tokyo, Japan - December 1, 2021

Yokogawa Electric Corporation has released the 2021 Yokogawa Sustainability Report, a document that reports to stakeholders on the progress that the Yokogawa Group has achieved toward its “Three goals” for sustainability, in accordance with the company's raison d'etre set out in the Yokogawa's Purpose statement.

With the Accelerate Growth 2023 mid-term business plan that was introduced earlier this fiscal year, the company has prioritized issues that it must address to contribute toward the SDGs and reinforce the foundations for its sustainability management, and has defined key performance indicators and established mid- and long-term targets for these issues.

This year's report outlines the process for identifying the priority issues, and explains the mid- and long-term targets. Success stories of business initiatives that are helping to address these issues are introduced, and the disclosure of information on our initiatives in the areas of greenhouse gas reduction, human rights, women's empowerment, and supply chain management has been enhanced.
