EJA530E In-Line Mount Gauge Pressure Transmitter

The EJA-E series of transmitters is Yokogawa's most recent evolution of the DPharp family. Released in 2012, it combines the ruggedness and success of the work-horse EJA-A series with the performance of the thoroughbred EJX-A series to deliver the type of product you have come to expect from Yokogawa.

The EJA530E is our in-line mount gauge pressure transmitter in the series.

EJA530E's features include:

  • Accurately: ±0.055% Accuracy
  • Reliably: ±0.1% Stability per 10 years
  • Quickly: 90 msec Response Time

Explore how the EJA530E can help you Boost your bottom line.

EJA530E In-Line Mount Gauge Pressure Transmitter-Overview

Plants run better with Yokogawa gauge pressure transmitters.

At its heart, Yokogawa's Gauge Pressure Transmitter with DPharp digital sensor offers the performance and device intelligence needed to get greater insight into your process.

Digital Performance

Using the latest in semiconductor design and manufacturing technology, Yokogawa designed the DPharp digital sensor to deliver improved performance and reliability over the competitor's old technology analog sensors. Although analog sensors are suitable, the advanced DPharp sensor outperforms even the best analog sensor.

Poor Performance = Lost Money

Local Indicator

Easy to read indicator provides all the information you need. The indicator can display any of the variables measured (DP, SP, Capsule temperature); alarm codes with short text; and a sweeping bar graph to give a graphical representation of the process. Fully programmable, the indicator is customizable for your needs. Unlike competitor's transmitters, the indicator is not driven off the 4 to 20mA analog signal, but, exist as a separate circuit allowing the display to operate independently from the output signal.

More Information = Found Money

Diagnostics

The EJA530E has 40 self-diagnostic checks to ensure that everything is running smoothly within the transmitter. However, all transmitters on the market have self-diagnostic checks. But, Yokogawa has two that are not offered by competitors. First, the transmitter features a patented Back-check Technology (BCT) that reverses checks all calculations in real-time. Second, the DPharp sensor is an active sensor meaning that the sensor is constantly supplying a signal even when the process has not changed. If the signal is lost from the sensor, the transmitter knows there is an issue. Competitor's analog sensors are passive. They do not supply a continuous signal. Is the passive sensor still working when there is no signal?

Good Diagnostics = Fewer Surprises

Rugged Construction

Ruggedly constructed differential pressure transmitter can help your plant reduce failures. Yokogawa's DP transmitters have construction features that are designed to allow it to outlive your plant. Four-bolt pressure retaining design, Active DPharp sensor, and dual seal certified to ANSI/ISA 12.27.01 - all design features to extend the life of the transmitter.

Ruggedness = Reliability

Independent Verification

The Yokogawa pressure transmitter series' performance and reliability has been verified by independent third parties from around the world.

Inherently Safe

All Yokogawa pressure transmitters are designed and certified to IEC61508:2010 Parts 1 through 7 and IEC61511:2004 Parts 1 through 3. They are certified for single transmitter use in SIL 2 safety applications and dual transmitter use in SIL 3 safety applications with no special option required. With Yokogawa EJA-E transmitters, no longer will you have to maintain two seperate inventories - one for production pplications and one for safety applications.

Inherently Safe = Reliability.

Routine maintenance is easier with Yokogawa differential pressure transmitters.

Extended Calibration Intervals

Yokogawa EJA-E series pressure transmitters have a long-term stability under all operational conditions. As you gain experience with these transmitters, you will be able to extend the time between calibration checks.

Quicker Maintenance = Less Downtime

Multiple Communication Options

Yokogawa offers several platforms to communicate to your transmitter.

FieldMate is a PC based communication platform that can communicate with your transmitter and manage your entire instrument inventory.

FieldMate HHC is a traditional hand-held platform that allows you to take that information into the field.

Forgot your HHC? No problem. The LPS feature on the transmitter allows you to update 9 parameters without the use of an HHC.
