Details
Benefits of Wireless Steam Trap Sensor
By installing this product on the piping where a steam trap is already installed, it is possible to detect conditions of the steam trap. Prompt maintenance can be performed, which is expected to reduce the risk of steam system failure and improve energy efficiency. Online wireless steam trap sensors enable real-time leak detection, unlike annual manual inspections, reducing steam loss, costs, and CO2 emissions through prompt maintenance.
Long-distance Communication on License-free Bands
This product has adopted LoRaWAN®. LoRaWAN® has excellent sensitivity reception, good radio interference resistance, and offers a communication distance of 6 miles/10 km or more in an ideal communication environment. This device can be installed anywhere you want over a vast area.
Modular Structure
The module structure enables replacing the battery without removing the XS822 Steam Trap Monitoring Module from the piping, and it makes for smooth maintenance of the device.
Adaptable to Various Types of Steam Traps
This product doesn‘t need to set the information of the type of targeted steam trap. Therefore, it can detect the condition of an already installed steam trap regardless of its manufacturer.
Detect the Condition of Steam Trap, Steam Leakage, and Steam Trap Cold
This product detects the failure or non-failure of steam traps, not the physical value of them, and transfers the results of the conditions to the host server automatically. There is no need to judge the failure on the host server.
*A steam trap is a valve that automatically and properly discharges the condensate generated when the steam cools, and it exhausts only condensate, not steam, in a plant.
