JUXTA D Series Signal Conditioners

The D Series is DCS-supported signal conditioners, consisting of modular type signal converters with versatile I/O specifications and housing nest. Our complete line of conditioners work well for a large or small scale systems and provide a simple platform for use and maintenance. Mounting nest conforms with JIS and EIA specifications.

Details

  • Mixed mounting of Electronic and Pneumatic signal conditioners
Mixed mounting of Electronic, Electronic-Pneumatic and Pneumatic-Electronic converters are available. Up to 16 converters can be mounted in one nest.
  • Relaying HART communication signals
Bi-directional relay of HART communication signals is possible while the field devices and the DCS are isolated from each other.
  • BRAIN Communication function
Equipped with communication functions, the conditioner allows such tasks as parameters setting, and monitoring to be done using a DCS (Yokogawa CENTUM-XL, µ-XL, etc.), PC (with VJ77 PC-based parameters setting tool).
  • Standard second output
A second output terminal on the front panel is available as standard for output to external recorders, indicators, alarm units, etc.
  • Maintenance can be performed in the field without removing wiring or disturbing other loops.
  • Manual backup for control output (DME, DMP)
Backup connector for model SPBD Standby Manual Station is equipped, allowing the converter to be maintained without interrupting the control output signals during operation.
  • Upper level communication
By installing a DSC2 communication interface module, the D series signal conditioners can communicate with a PC or PLC.

Recursos

Descripción General:

HART communication is a means of transmitting multiple signals by superimposing long-standard 4-20 mA DC analog signals on digital signals. The figure below is an example of connecting field instruments and upstream devices using HART communication compatible VJA1/H signal conditioners.

Descripción General:

Depending on the importance of the process control system, individual isolation, duplexing, or other measures may be needed to increase its reliability. The D series signal conditioners offers DCS supporting input/output nests for connecting to upstream DCS input/output modules.
