JUXTA P Series Pneumatic Converters

The P Series is a space saving pneumatic signal interface. Compact size, plug-in style design makes for an easy and space saving installation (only 24 mm width). Also the dedicated mounting nest (up to 16 converters can be mounted) is available to connect with DCS via multi-pin connectors. Excellent for applications where space is a primary concern.

  • Plug-in feature allows for easy insertion and extraction.
  • Mixed mounting of P/E and E/P converters.
  • Compact packaging allows for close mounting on a single manifold.
  • Built-in high reliability designed semi-conductor pressure sensor.
  • Maximum air supply/exhaust capacity of 60 Nl/min. and air consumption of less than 4 Nl/min.
  • Automatic seal function enables main body insertion/extraction without removing air piping.

Pneumatic Converters

Model Product Name Input Type Output Type Descriptions
PF1 Pneumatic to Electrical Converter Pneumatic Signal (Note 1) DC Voltage or DC Current
PH10 Electrical to Pneumatic Converter 1 to 5 V DC or 4 to 20 mA DC Pneumatic Signal (Note 1) Air supply unit (PPU) is separately required.

Note 1: Pneumatic signal range is 0.2 to 1.0 kg/cm2, 3 to 15 psi or 20 to 100 kPa

An air supply unit and power distributor come with it. You'll need to purchase a power supply unit (FPSU) separately.
See “Preventive Maintenance of Signal Conditioners” in TI 77J00B01-01.
The input impedance of typical current input type instruments is 250 MΩ. By contrast, the allowable load impedance for current output is 750 kΩ or more, therefore the maximum number of units that can be connected is 3.
It is with plug-in types. It is also sold separately.
The resistance is 250 Ω (4–20 mADC). However some computing units also have 100 Ω input.
What does span mean?
Span means width, and is the width of the setting range.
The input impedance of typical voltage input type instruments is 1 MΩ. By contrast, the allowable load impedance for voltage output is 2 kΩ or more, therefore the maximum number of units that can be connected is 500.
What does response speed **ms(10-90%) mean?
It means the time until the output reaches 63% when input is applied in 10 Ω 90% steps.
JUXTA VJ series is not a CCC standard scope. Some models of the VJ series have acquired GB standard and can be used in China. Please contact us for applicable models. ...
A 90% response time is equivalent to 2.3 times the duration of a 63% response time.
What does "time constant" mean?
In the case of conditioners, time constant reflects the response speed. In terms of a transfer function, it is expressed as OUT=INΩ(1-e EXP(-t/T)). OUT: output, IN: input, e: natural log, T: time constant, t: elapsed time When the elapsed time...
Please provide information about PCB usage.
PCBs were banned from manufacturing and imports in 1975. JUXTA was first released in 1987, therefore they should not include PCBs.
Yes. To satisfy the performance specifications, you should power the unit for 10–15 minutes.
