I changed the SP value from the operation screen on the UTAdvanced series controller, but the change isn't applied. Why?

When the SP Slope function is enabled, the SP value changes with the time and slope that you set and may appear unchanged from the original value.
Under Operating Parameters > SPS, check that UPR and DNR are not set to anything other than OFF.
