Yokogawa Corporation of America Appoints Daniel L. Duncan as Chief Operating Officer

Yokogawa Corporation of America announces that Daniel L. Duncan has become the Chief Operating Officer of Yokogawa Corporation of America effective July 1. In this position, Mr. Duncan will be responsible for assessing the current sales channel partners for North America and implement best practices of a global company with a product, systems, software and services portfolio.

Mr. Duncan began his professional career as an engineer with Georgia Power Company. Then as part owner he led a systems integration firm focused on both discrete and process automation projects. This was followed by a sales position in industrial distribution before joining Honeywell as both a systems and application consultant in the Industrial Automation and Control sales organization. Mr. Duncan joined Siemens Energy & Automation in 1997 holding various management roles in automation marketing, regional sales and finally led the US industrial sales organization. Mr. Duncan's most recent responsibilities were as VP and General Manager of the Oil & Gas Division of Siemens Energy, Inc. based in Houston, TX. His divisional portfolio included power generation, compression, conceptual engineering, real-time data intelligence solutions, process safety engineering, water treatment solutions, integrated electrical solutions and subsea products.

Mr. Duncan earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He has been an active member of the Greater Houston Partnership, a volunteer supporter of the First Tee of Houston and Boys and Girls Country.
