Can I ground the AR2-PK and the protected equipment separately if the AR2-PK and the protected equipment are separated by some distance?

If the AR2-PK and the protected equipment are grounded separately, there is a high probability that adequate protection will not be obtained.

Be sure to connect AR2-PK to the ground terminal of the protected equipment and ground it on the AR2-PK side.
