“The local and senior managers are both very supportive, open and trustworthy.”

How would you describe your job and role at Yokogawa?
I am working as an Advanced Solutions Account manager in Yokogawa Turkey. My role consists of understanding customer needs and challenges, detecting possible improvement areas in process, production, quality, safety and profitability. Our team helps our customers to openly designate their current position, identify their targets and support them to reach their operational excellence goals, keeping customer’s resources and schedule in consideration.

What is the most remarkable thing you have done at Yokogawa so far?
We have initiated the first data-analytics consultancy assignment in Europe with our customer, a chemical production company, based in Turkey. It was a very specific and challenging project. We invested considerable time and effort to create a tailor-made solution for the challenge our customer was facing. In the end, we had a fulfilling project and a very successful job.

Yokogawa values 'quality of life' for their employees. How do you experience that in real life?
Yokogawa is a great company when it comes to work-life balance as well. In Turkey it is very often the case that the employees are expected and even forced to work overtime, most of the weekdays; this is never the case in Yokogawa. Although the individual and team targets can sometimes be challenging, it is never considered as inhuman. Both, the local and senior managers are very supportive, open and trustworthy. In addition to that, compliance and employee rights are considered very seriously. I can openly say that Yokogawa is a quite employee-friendly company.

Why should talented people consider Yokogawa as a potential new employer?
A global company. One of the best players in instrumentation & automation market. Very transparent organization. Supportive managers and colleagues. Good working environment with various career opportunities globally.
In Yokogawa, we combine hard work, synergy and fun for success.
