Webinar Special "Process Analytics for the Chlorine Industry"

Chlorine is an indispensable basic material for the chemical industry. Accordingly, it is needed for the production of two thirds of all chemical (preliminary) products and plastics. Germany is one of the largest chlorine producers in Europe. To meet its needs, chlorine is produced in chlor-alkali plants together with other important basic chemicals such as caustic soda (as an alkali) and hydrogen by electrolysis of a salt solution. It is then further processed in downstream processes.

To improve the sustainability and competitiveness of this demanding process, ways are constantly being sought to reduce energy costs, recover raw materials and avoid incidents.

To achieve these very goals, accurate and fast measurement technologies are needed that are low maintenance and durable, even in harsh and corrosive environments.
