How would you describe your job and role at Yokogawa?
As a Marketing Manager for Transmitters my responsibility is helping OPCO’s to develop my product line in different territories. I study territories, markets & competitors to support the OPCO’s in creating the sales strategy for different businesses (EPC’s, OEM and End Users). Another important aspect of my job is the coordination between other departments on a  global level, for example: Project pursuit team (Oil & Gas projects), Sales support (e.g. technical training to EPC customer); R&D (to study a solution with YHQ to offer the best solution to the customer’s needs), Marketing (to transfer the local market needs to our global product managers). 
Another important aspect of my role is “the global vision”; I always try to look over my product basket PCI: if there is an opportunity, it’s always important to involve other BUs.

What is the most remarkable thing you have done at Yokogawa so far?
This is a difficult question, not because of the question itself, but because I’ve been involved in many different and always new projects and activities in Yokogawa, each one very important to me. 
But would I have to choose among all the things I’ve done in the past 7 years for our company, the most remarkable is “the know-how sharing”, which in my opinion is the heart of any activity at different levels. I’ve always been glad to take part in international conferences and presentations, every time having the opportunity to learn more about our company and to share my knowledge with others. I strongly believe that sharing your point of view, visions, technical aspects and experiences is the key to reach good goals.

Yokogawa values 'quality of life' for their employees. How do you experience that in real life?
Yokogawa is totally different from other companies and I think I can freely claim this, having had many different experiences elsewhere before. I could summarize the concept in one single sentence: Freedom, Flexibility, and at the same time, Responsibility. I can rationally organize activities and schedule my appointments according to the real needs of work development. This process allows a better quality of life and to take better care of your family (…a family that, I am happy to share, very recently a fantastic disabled dog is a member of).
