Proposed System Configuration
Wireless temperature sensors are installed in the hot water supply system surrounding the LNG underground tanks. The measured temperatures are aggregated into the Wide Area Monitoring System for centralized monitoring. If any part of the hot water supply system changes from its normal temperature, the system notifies the user of an error on the Wide Area Monitoring System screen. This allows early detection of which hot water supply system is malfunctioning, leading to proactive repairs. It is also possible to share failure information from each base.
