Yokogawa Supports Tohoku Region Disaster Relief

Tokyo, Japan - March 23, 2011

On March 14, Yokogawa Electric Corporation made a 10 million yen contribution to aid the victims of the March 11 earthquake in the Tohoku region of Japan. The contribution was made through the Japan Platform, an internationally active humanitarian aid organization.

Considering the immense scope of this disaster, which is becoming ever more apparent with each passing day, the company decided today to contribute an additional 40 million yen to this cause through the Japan Platform.

Furthermore, the company is soliciting donations from all officers and employees of the Yokogawa Group.

Everyone at Yokogawa feels great compassion for those affected by this devastating earthquake, and we sincerely hope that the region and its people make a swift recovery.
