Advanced Monitoring: AddObserver
Graphical HMI Monitor Design Software
AddObserver lets you create a user-friendly monitoring environment with your own realistic images and graphics, and allows you to operate controllers .
Panel Monitor
Monitoring software for viewing windows created using the builder software. Best suited for on-site monitoring by the operator, since this software is not designed to create new windows or alter windows created using the builder software.
For monitoring and operating screens of controllers, a protection level can be set for the three controller objects—numeric out, selectable out, and temperature controller parts. Three protection levels can be selected, and up to sixteen users can be set. Each user is identified with a user name and password.

Main Parts of the Example Screen
- Trend Graph: Up to 32 tags can be assigned in a single graph.
- Temperature Controller: Display, operate, and set the main parameters. Other parameters supported by placing other objects.
- Button: Up to eight screens can be created; switch between them, or turn off alarms.
Button property (builder software) - String Change Rectangle : The specified tag’s background color, text color, and text itself can change dynamically according to the tag's numerical range (up to four thresholds can be set).

GateEye is image server software for acquiring images from a network camera and delivering them to AddObserver.
Image Acquisition Function
- Connectible devices: Network camera (capable of capturing still JPEG images for a specified URL), DX/CX/MV (DX1000/DX2000/MV1000/MV2000 series instruments are not supported yet.)
- Maximum number of Network cameras that can be connected:
4 - Protocol: HTTP (1.0 or later); communication commands dedicated to the DX/CX/MV series
