OpreX Design Diagram Converter is an application which reads a P&ID drawn with 2D CAD and converts it into a computer-understandable data format. It provides two main functions and benefits:
OpreX Design Diagram Converter can generate instrumentation lists, piping line lists, and material takeoffs automatically. Users can create a pattern using shapes in the P&ID, and convert it into lists based on the pattern rules. The pattern rules can be freely adjusted to generate a list with high extraction accuracy. The resulting reduction in manual work and human errors improves the quality and consistency of the lists.
Furthermore, P&ID data can be also exported in an XML format file that conforms to the international standard ISO15926. The exported P&ID data can be utilized in various phases of the plant lifecycle, such as construction, operation/maintenance, and revamping/expansion.
