ADMAG AXG is the successor to ADMAG AXF. Not only can you replace AXF Integral Type with AXG Integral Type, you can also replace AXFA11/AXFA14 Remote Transmitter with AXG1A/AXG4A.

 

Backward Compatibility between High Grade Remote Transmitter AXG1A and AXFA11

High Grade Remote Transmitter AXG1A is the successor to AXFA11.
As with AXFA11, combined connection with AXF/AXG/AXW Flow sensors is possible.
The position of the input/output terminals and the hole position of the stanchion mounting position are inherited, making it easy to replace AXFA11 with AXG1A.

ADMAG AXG can display process values as trend graphs, as well as numerical information, and can “visualize” process value changes from the past to the present. This function displays one process value per screen, and it can switch up to four process values by switching the screen. There are 11 types of process values that can be displayed, and 6 types of screen update cycles. The vertical axis is scaled automatically and always displays a graph that is easy to see.

ADMAG AXG can be equipped with a microSD card (optional) and can store process information.
This makes it possible to record process information simply if there is a device itself. Also, data is stored in text format.
Therefore, analysis using spreadsheet software is also possible by importing data into a PC via a microSD card.

This function can record up to four process information simultaneously.
Ten types of recordable process information are available.
It is available to set the sampling cycle from 7 types and the continuous recording time from 8 types.

How long does it take each machine to carry out an equipment inspection?

ADMAG AXG offers the following three methods to easily diagnose the soundness of equipment. It is available to choose the best diagnosis method according to the situation and the diagnosis you want to check. Anyone can check the same item automatically.

Built-in Verification Function (Our proprietary patented technology)

Built-in verification diagnoses the integrity of the transmitter and detector.
As the soundness of the converter, it diagnoses three items: “Calculation circuit”, “Device status (error history)” and “Connection status”.
We diagnose two of "magnetic circuit" and "excitation circuit" as soundness of the detector.
Then, based on the results of these five soundness diagnoses, the soundness of the entire device is diagnosed.

Built-in Verification Function (Our proprietary patented technology)

 

Standard Verification

In addition to the diagnostic content of the built-in verification function, the standard verification function can inspect the appearance of the chassis and display board, and diagnose the dot missing of the LCD.
In addition, since the diagnosis results can be output as A4 size PDF, they can be used as supplementary data for reporting and management of inspection history.

ADMAG AXG can be equipped with a microSD card (optional) and can backup / restore / duplicate parameter information using the microSD card or a memory with a built-in LCD.

By combining the signals obtained by low frequency excitation and high frequency excitation, it is our unique revolutionary excitation method that has succeeded in covering each defect and extracting only the superiority.
It combines the advantages of low frequency excitation zero points stability, high frequency excitation noise resistance and high speed response.

The flow noise that appears when measuring slurry fluid or low conductivity fluid has "1/f characteristics".
In other words, low frequency components tend to be noisy, while high frequency components tend to be less noisy. Therefore, high frequency excitation is effective to ensure noise resistance. However, in conventional high frequency excitation, there was a problem that "zero points become unstable".

In "Dual Frequency Excitation Method", sampling is performed in the area not affected by noise on the high frequency side, and stable zero points components are extracted with a large time constant on the low frequency side. Therefore, the synthesized signal has a very small effect of noise and stable zero points.

 

“0.1 seconds” fast response

In order to realize the stability of the zero points while reducing the influence of noise, the time constant is generally increased.
But that would hurt responsiveness.
The solution is "Dual Frequency Excitation Method" how to simultaneously meet the effects of noise reduction, zero points stability and response.
In “Dual Frequency Excitation Method”, high-speed response of “0.1 seconds” is possible because the change in flow rate is detected on the high frequency side.

 

Display and output of Flow Noise Intensity

Conventional models have removed flow noise signals using our proprietary signal processing technology "Dual Frequency Excitation Method".
On the other hand, understanding the fluid noise signal is also useful for identifying the cause of occurrence and preventing it.

With ADMAG AXG, the intensity of flow noise can be displayed and output separately from flow signal output. As a result, while realizing stable flow rate measurement, it has become possible to grasp at what intensity fluid noise is generated.

This makes it possible to monitor conditions such as air bubble / slurry contamination, lining wear, and liquid replacement (chemical injection, cleaning) that are the causes of flow noise.

Sensor Empty Check

The electromagnetic flowmeter can not perform accurate measurement if the inside of the detector is empty (non-full).
In ADMAG AXG, by constantly monitoring the condition in the piping, it contributes to the realization of continuous and stable flow measurement.

 

Electrode Insulation Deterioration Diagnosis

The fluid that the electromagnetic flowmeter can measure is a fluid that has conductivity.
In the case of highly corrosive fluid, it may penetrate from the gap between the electrode and the lining, etc. and degrade the insulation resistance.
If corrosion of the insulation resistance progresses, the electrode and the ground may be shorted, which may cause measurement to be impossible.
In ADMAG AXG, monitoring the insulation state of the electrode and catching the sign of short circuit contribute to the early measures.
