I'm considering replacing the DA100 and DS600 with a GM10. In place of the SMARTDAC+ GM10 subunit, can I connect a GX60 expansion unit?

I communicate with the DA100 via GP-IB. If I replace the DA100 with the SMARTDAC+ GM10, can I use GP-IB communications?

The GM10 does not support GP-IB communications. It comes standard with an Ethernet communication interface, so we recommend connecting to the PC via LAN.

I'm considering replacing the DARWIN (DA100) with the SMARTDAC+ GM10. Can I use a DARWIN extension cable to connect the units?

No. You can use an STP cable of CAT5 or higher. The maximum distance between units is 100 m. You can use either a straight or cross cable.
