What is the difference between the "Open" menu command and "Open program pattern data?"

For example, if you select UP550 format and

  • "open" a UP750 file, the format will be UP750.
  • But if you "Open program pattern data," you will open the UP750 file in UP550 format.
    By using the "Open program pattern data" function, you can share UP550 and UP750 user files. (Note that if you select UP550 format, you will not be able to "Open program pattern data" on a file from a 2-loop UP750.)
