There is no output with a pulse/analog converter. What should I do?

  1. Check the power supply wiring.
  2. Check whether the power supply voltage meets the specifications.
  3. Check the polarity of the input wiring.
  4. Check the pulse specifications of the other instrument.
  5. For voltage pulse, open collector, and non-voltage contact, check whether there is an external resistance connected to the input terminals.
  6. For current pulse, check whether the accessory resistor is connected to the input terminals. (some models may have built-in resistance, so be sure to check the specifications).
  7. Check the signal from the output terminal while using a clip or other conductor to open and short the (+) and (-) input terminals. For a high range input frequency, manually opening and shorting may result in a low cut, and you may not be able to check. In that case, you will need a pulse generator appropriate for the input frequency.
  8. If the output signals is of the current specifications, attach an external 250 Ω resistance and measure the voltage.
