FLXA21 or FLXA202 Check Sum Error

  1. First, check the grounding. A bad ground can cause this failure.
  2. Next: cycle the power to the unit. Shut the power off for 30 seconds then restart.
  3. If that doesn’t clear the error reset the analyzer to factory defaults. Be sure to record any important data from the settings before you do this.
         a.  Go under the wrench- Commissioning- Advanced Setup- Setting- then Change “No action” to “load factory settings” – then select Yes
  4. If that still doesn’t clear the error: Try pulling the module and reseating it.
         a.  First power the unit down.
         b.  Then, depending on the generation you may have to pull 2 rubber locks from the slot next to the locking tabs (if they're not there that’s okay, skip this step),
         c. Next: Push the tabs on the module to the unlocked position.

               d.  Then pull the module out and wait 30 seconds, then reinsert until the lock clicks.
