Smart Aqua-Farming
A client in the aquaculture sector is using Asset Health Insights as a first step towards IIoT and digital transformation of people, processes, and technology. Yokogawa supported the client with a solution to limit time spent on manual checks and to improve the levels of automation in water quality maintenance (DO, pH, salinity, temperature). AHI enabled the data ingestion from probe sensors into a cloud environment, providing various real-time water tank insights and insights on shrimp health and the overall process productivity.
Pump Performance and Anomaly Detection
As part of a larger digital transformation initiative, a South American refiner needed to improve maintenance program and operational parameters to reduce costly downtime and operational costs. Asset Health Insights enhances the operational efficiency of pumps by collecting data on discharge pressure, suction pressure, flow rate, power, and more. This data is used to determine the performance gap between actual and ideal efficiency, as well as to estimate potential energy savings. The client can detect any abnormal processes with the aid of AI, alerting on-site engineers.
